The highly anticipated clash between Egypt’s Al Ahly and the United States’ Inter Miami ended in a goalless draw at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, marking the kickoff of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The match saw several chances on both sides.
Al Ahly came close to opening the scoring when they were awarded a penalty after Ahmed Sayed Zizo was brought down in the box.
However, Trézéguet failed to convert the spot-kick in the 43rd minute.
Tunisian international midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane started the match and delivered an overall solid performance before being substituted in the 65th minute by Hussein El Shahat.
