Al Ahly defeated Mexico’s CF Monterrey in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Saturday night and reached the semifinals of the Fifa Club World Cup for the second year running.
Ahly took the lead via Mohamed Hany’s 53rd-minute strike in a fierce meeting played at pace against the Concacaf (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) champions at Al Nahyan Stadium.
