Club World Cup : Real Madrid edge past Borussia Dortmund to set up a fiery semi-final clash with PSG (video)

Real Madrid defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, in a match played just moments ago at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States.

The Spanish side opened the scoring in the 10th minute through the ever-impressive Gonzalo Garcia, who netted a brilliant header—his fourth goal of the tournament.

Ten minutes later, left-back Juan Garcia doubled the lead with a well-placed follow-up finish in front of goal.

Kylian Mbappé added the third in stoppage time, scoring in the 90+4 minute to seal the win.

Borussia Dortmund responded late in the match with two goals: the first from Maximilian Beier in the 90+3 minute, followed by a second from Serhou Guirassy in the 90+8 minute.

With this victory, Real Madrid advance to the semi-finals, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain. The other semi-final will see Brazil’s Fluminense take on England’s Chelsea.
