Imed Sandid, the regional director of commerce in Béja, confirmed to Tunisie Numérique that a shortage of domestic gas bottles has been registered in the region recently. According to him, this shortage was caused by a delay in unloading a shipment at the port of Bizerte due to adverse weather conditions.
He added that every day, 10,325 gas bottles are distributed across the governorate’s different delegations, in coordination with regional and local authorities, to meet the demand.
