A 5.1 magnitude earthquake shock western France early this morning. France’s national seismic service said that the mild earthquake hit at 6.50am local time near the town of Bressuire,. Other cities that were affected are Le Mans, Nantes, Rennes and Caen.
No damage has been reported so far.
