A 5.8 magnitude tremor rocked the entire island of Puerto Rico on Monday morning, The relatively shallow 6-mile-deep quake struck at 6:32 a.m, according to the U.S. Geological Service. Numerous smaller shocks followed, including a 4.9-magnitude quake that terrified residents all over again just before 11 a.m., according to the USGS.
Punta Ventana, a famed natural stone arch along Puerto Rico’s southern coast was destroyed as a consequence of the quake.
