An unfortunate incident happened at the concert of Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny at the Baron Palace in the Heliopolis area of Cairo, before the event started, when a metal lighting stand fell onto the audience.
The accident occurred due to the collapse of heavy lighting equipment, resulting in varying injuries to 15 people in the audience. Medical teams were urgently called to transport the injured to the hospital for necessary treatment.
The Cairo Security Directorate’s operations room received a report about the incident, and immediately, security forces rushed to the scene. Upon investigation, it was found that the lighting stand had fallen during the final preparations for the concert, injuring 15 people, who were transported by ambulances to nearby hospitals.
A report was filed about the incident, and all required legal procedures were taken. Authorities continue to investigate the causes of the accident to ensure the safety of the audience in future events. The organizing committee decided to cancel the concert, which was scheduled for Saturday evening at the Baron Palace in Cairo.
