Eight Egyptians were killed and one person injured on Wednesday when a house collapsed in the Assiut region of southern Egypt.
The Assiut security directorate was notified of the collapse of a four-story building in eastern Assiut.
Civil protection and rescue forces recovered eight bodies, including women and three children, who were taken to the morgue, and continue to search for more people under the rubble. Egypt: Eight dead in building collapse in Assiut
