Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday revealed that the country will formally join South Africa’s lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
The lawsuit accuses Israel of violating its obligations under the Genocide Convention in the Gaza Strip.
Egypt highlighted the worsening severity and scope of Israeli attacks in Gaza and called on Israeli forces to refrain from committing violations against Palestinians.
