The president of the Tunisian Farmers’ Union (Synagri), Dhaoui Midani, stated in an interview with Jawhara FM radio that the price of sacrificial sheep will reach 1,000 dinars this year. He believes that the price of sheep should not be lower than 1,000 dinars, for a sheep weighing no more than 20 kg.
Regarding the available livestock and preparations for the Feast of Sacrifice, he highlighted, according to the same source, a significant shortage of livestock, noting a considerable decline.
