Erdogan calls UNSC ‘dysfunctional’ over Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused on Friday the United Nations Security Council of being “completely dysfunctional in the face of Israel’s war crimes” in the Gaza Strip. He also said the voices of the international community are “silent” on the matter.

Erdogan said that “great brutality” and a “massacre” is taking place in Gaza, highlighting the high number of journalists killed along with Palestinian civilians. He claimed that the Western media “turned a blind eye to Israel’s crimes against humanity” despite their colleagues being killed and said he is “deeply saddened” by the “biased” media coverage.
