Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of trying to ignite a regional conflict following its recent attacks on Iran, according to the TRT Haber television channel.
Speaking in Hatay province, Erdogan expressed hope that “this game will not be played,” criticizing Israel’s actions as a provocation.
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the strikes, stating that Israel’s actions could escalate tensions in the region. It also called for the international community to intervene and stop what it described as “Israeli terror.”
