Étoile Sportive du Sahel has received an official invitation from Qatari club Al Sadd to play a friendly match between the two teams, scheduled for August 6, 2025, in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The fixture is part of efforts to strengthen sporting ties and foster cooperation between the two clubs.
The friendly will be held during a training camp that Étoile du Sahel will conduct from August 4 to 8.
As a result, the club plans to submit a formal request to the Tunisian Football Federation to postpone its match scheduled for the first round of the national league.
