Dozens of people operating in Kram Municipality cordoned off Shems FM headquarters today expecting the exit of journalist and presenter Hamza Balloumi.
The latter had criticized the shut down of commercial establishment in the town because of videos and photos posted by the owner of the said business against the actions of the mayor of the town Fethi Laayouni. He thought that the people who intervened that day were bandits and not real officials.
The protestors came in trucks calling on the host to apologize live on his show.
MP Samia Abbou, present at the scene attempted to reason with the protestors and revealed to them that Hamza Balloumi made the statements because the agents were not wearing their uniforms when the town hall decision was executed.
