Enahdha member Mariem Bennour told Tunisie Numérique that a bombing took place in the headquarters of Ennahdha while party executives were in a meeting.
Affirming that 150 people were present in the party headquarters, the same source added that they were encircled by flames. Several injured suffering from burns were identified.
The speaker added that several people attempted to jump out of the window. “Ali Larayedh and Abdelkarim Harouni’s condition is serious after attempting to escape the blaze. Harouni was admitted to a clinic for treatment as Larayedh threw himself out the window after being suffocated, ”she added.
