The Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis will host the 24th edition of the Tunisian Song Festival from March 5 to 7, 2026, at the Cité de la Culture Chedly Klibi.
In an official statement, the Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis announced an extension of the deadline for submitting applications to the festival’s various competitions until Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in order to provide artists and creators with a broader opportunity to take part in this national event.
The competitions scheduled as part of the 24th edition of the Tunisian Song Festival are: the “Song Competition – New Production 2025,” the “Instrumental Piece Competition – New Production 2025,” and the “Performance Competition – New Production 2025.”
According to the statement issued by the Théâtre de l’Opéra, applicants are required to complete the participation form corresponding to the competition they wish to enter. The form can be downloaded via the following link:

The form must be duly completed and signed (with a notarized signature) by all contributors involved in the work.
The application file must also include a USB flash drive containing:

an audio recording of the artistic work (rehearsal or final version),

the lyrics of the work in a Word document,

a curriculum vitae for each contributor (lyricist, composer, performer, arranger), limited to ten lines each,

high-resolution digital passport-style photographs for all participants,

and, for the song competition, the complete musical score of the work, including all details.
Applications must be sent under the heading “Tunisian Song Festival – 24th Edition” to the Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis, Cité de la Culture Chedly Klibi, Avenue Mohamed V, 1002 Tunis, or submitted directly to the institution’s registry office at the same address.
Any incomplete application or any submission received after the closing date will be automatically rejected. The stamp of the registry office or the postmark will serve as proof of the date of submission or dispatch.
It should be noted that financial prizes have been allocated for the various competitions as part of efforts to support musical creation and encourage new production on the Tunisian artistic scene, the Théâtre de l’Opéra’s statement concludes.
