United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci told ABC on Sunday that there could be more surges in COVID-19 cases after the current wave.
“We may see a surge upon a surge. We don’t want to frighten people but that’s just the reality,” Fauci stated. The epidemiologist also called on people to be “really careful” when they return from holiday travel.
