FC Barcelona lost two key players to injury during their 3–1 win yesterday against Atlético Madrid, as part of Matchday 15 of La Liga.
Dani Olmo was forced off the pitch after picking up an injury during the action leading to the team’s second goal, before Pedri also requested to be substituted, appearing to suffer from a muscle strain.
The pair had only recently returned to competitive action, but both players have now suffered a fresh setback. Head coach Hans-Dieter Flick will now need to look for alternative options.
