After initially announcing May 24, the official draw for the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup—scheduled to take place from December 1 to 18—will now be held on Sunday, May 25, in Doha, Qatar, the host nation of the tournament’s eleventh edition, which will feature 16 national teams.
The draw ceremony will be broadcast live and free-to-air on Morocco’s Arryadia TV, and will also be available for live streaming on CAF’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
Nine teams have already secured their place in the tournament. From North Africa: Qatar, Algeria (the defending champions), Morocco, Egypt, and Tunisia. From the Gulf region: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Iraq. Jordan completes the list of automatically qualified teams.
The remaining seven spots will be determined through a qualifying phase set to take place in November.
