At least five people were killed, and 21 wounded in a stampede at Soolking Concert in the Algerian capital on Thursday night.
Thousands had assembled at a stadium to see rapper Abderraouf Derradji, better known as Soolking, perform when a stampede is typically assumed to have burst out at one of the official entries.
Video footage posted on social media revealed medics carrying a person thought to be a victim of the rush on a stretcher outside the purpose-built stadium.
