The Turkish Defense Ministry said on Monday that five soldiers died and one was left in critical condition after a helicopter crash. The ministry identified the helicopter as a UH-1 and said the incident happened during training in Isparta in the country’s southwest.
Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin said the crash happened when two helicopters collided. Authorities have launched an investigation into the event.
