The case quickly drew significant attention on social media shortly after the incident (Internet users never miss a beat!). The fire sparked a reaction from public officials, who offered excuses but vowed that those responsible would be held accountable. The judiciary swiftly took up the case. Four people were placed in pre-trial detention, while six others were held under different conditions.
They will be brought before the court and they risk big for “violation of the Tunisian flag”, under Article 129 of the Criminal Code. Among the agents picked by the justice there is a designer of flags and one of his relatives, reports Mosaic FM.
