Germany has reported the first infection with the new variation of the coronavirus, first detected in the United Kingdom, the Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration of the state of Baden-Wurttemberg declared on Thursday.
According to the statement, the infection was detected in a traveller who has arrived from the UK to Germany on December 20.
