United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday called on the United States administration to put more pressure on Israel to bring the war in the Gaza Strip to an end.
“I know the American political life sufficiently to know that it will not happen,” Guterres stated in an interview with Al Jazeera. However, he emphasised that it is very important to keep pressuring the US to secure a ceasefire deal and emphasized that “the two-state solution must not be undermined.”
