The city of Hammamet will host the African Summit on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity from March 30 to April 1, 2026, under the theme “Intelligence, Security, a Connected Continent.” The event is set to become a major continental platform dedicated to digital transformation and technological governance in Africa.
The summit aims to strengthen digital transformation within African governments, enhance cybersecurity frameworks, build digital trust, and promote the use of artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and quality of public services. It will also focus on reinforcing digital sovereignty and advancing smart digital governance across the continent.
The event is expected to bring together government representatives, policymakers, decision-makers, experts, and academics from across Africa, offering a strategic space for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and the development of secure and sustainable digital policies suited to Africa’s future challenges.
