His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Abdullah Al Sanani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia, affirmed that the official visit of His Excellency Kaïs bin Mohamed Al Youssef, Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, to Tunisia from December 4 to 5, 2025, comes at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart and reflects a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral economic relations and expanding investment cooperation.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the visit, the Ambassador stated that the program includes a series of official meetings with several Tunisian ministers responsible for the economy, planning, energy, industry and mining, with the aim of increasing trade exchange, strengthening industrial partnerships and supporting joint investment initiatives.
Ambassador Al Sanani explained that discussions will also focus on the promising opportunities available for the private sector in both countries, particularly in technology, manufacturing industries, renewable energy, tourism, logistics services and food security — sectors that play a growing role in the economic development strategies of both nations.
In this context, the Ambassador highlighted that the Tunisia–Oman Economic Forum, scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2025, will serve as a practical platform that brings together business leaders and investors from both sides to explore investment prospects in Oman — including economic zones, free zones and industrial estates — while also gaining insight into Tunisia’s investment climate and available incentives.
He added that the forum is expected to strengthen direct communication between private-sector institutions, establish new commercial and industrial partnerships and open new avenues for cooperation in digital economy fields, small and medium enterprises and supply chains, while also paving the way for future agreements that serve shared interests.
His Excellency concluded by reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to providing all necessary support to ensure the success of the visit and the achievement of its objectives, in a manner that further consolidates Omani–Tunisian relations and broadens the horizons of constructive cooperation.
