Speaking with Tunisie Numérique, water resources and climate expert Houcine Rhili stated that the rains registered over the weekend are very important for the agricultural season.
Rhili added that the fall season is much better than the one our country saw last year, as no rainfalls were recorded until the end of November.
Our speaker noted that although most of the areas that recorded large amounts of rain did not have dams, their influence is very beneficial for agricultural activity.
He confirmed that the dam filling rate has not witnessed a significant improvement, hoping that these amounts of rain, particularly those recorded in the state of Beja, will contribute to improving revenues.
