The Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Budapest informs Tunisian citizens residing in Hungary and Slovakia of the introduction of a new system aimed at facilitating access to consular services remotely.
As part of the ongoing modernization of consular services, it is now possible to request certain civil status documents through the administrative services platform for Tunisians abroad, without the need for systematic in-person visits.
Documents concerned:
- Birth certificates
- Death certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Certificate of validity of the Tunisian driving license
The Embassy also clarified that applicants who prefer to complete their procedures in person may still visit the consular section of the Embassy to submit their requests directly.
This initiative is part of efforts to bring consular services closer to the Tunisian community abroad and to improve the efficiency and quality of administrative procedures.
