In the first quarter, tax revenues rose by 7.7%

    According to the provisional report on the implementation of the State Budget as of the end of March 2025, tax revenues for the first quarter totaled 11.2 billion dinars, compared to 10.4 billion dinars during the same period in 2024—an annual increase of 7.7%.

    These tax revenues are composed of direct taxes, which amounted to 4,895.8 million dinars (up 10.4%), and indirect taxes, which reached 6,298.9 million dinars (up 5.7%) compared to the first quarter of 2024.

    Direct Taxes

    • Income Tax: 3,231.5 million dinars (+6.2%)
    • Corporate Tax: 1,664.3 million dinars (+19.5%)

    Indirect Taxes

    • Customs Duties: 548.1 million dinars (+22%)
    • Value-Added Tax (VAT): 2,729.4 million dinars (+6.1%)
    • Consumption Duties: 898.1 million dinars (+2.6%)
    • Other Indirect Taxes: 2,123.4 million dinars (+3.1%)
