The number of COVID-19 infections recorded in India rose at 18,522 on Monday, signalling a small drop compared to yesterday’s figure and bringing the national tally to 566,840, according to the nation’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus death toll reached 16,893, with health authorities confirming 418 additional virus-related fatalities since the last update was released.
