The number of COVID-19 infections in India grew by a record 352,991 in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced on Monday. Since the start of the pandemic, 17,313,163 Indians have been infected with the virus.
The daily death count was at a record high as well, reaching 2,812. The overall death toll stood at 195,123.
