The National Institute of Meteorology (INM) released an update this Sunday detailing rainfall amounts recorded across various regions of Tunisia over the past 24 hours—from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, to 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14.
The highest rainfall totals were observed in Sakiet Sidi Youssef, located in the Kef Governorate, and in Sbeïtla, with a cumulative 11 mm recorded.
Below are the maximum rainfall amounts registered by governorate:
- Ghardimaou (Jendouba): 11 mm
- Sakiet Sidi Youssef (Le Kef): 12 mm
- Menzel Bourguiba (Bizerte): 1 mm
- Béja: 1 mm
- Oueslatia (Kairouan): 10 mm
- Sbeïtla (Kasserine): 11 mm
