Iran temporarily closed nuclear sites on Sunday

Iran temporarily shut down its nuclear sites citing security concerns, leading to the halt of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi told the media.

According to Al Jazeera, Grossi said the facilities were closed on Sunday and reopened on Monday, with inspections set to resume on Tuesday. He emphasized the importance of ensuring complete calm before allowing inspectors back.

Grossi went on to express worry regarding the possibility of attacks on nuclear facilities and urged for extreme restraint to avoid any escalation of tensions.
