Palestinian group Fatah said Wednesday that one of its military commanders was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.
The group’s armed wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, said Khalil al-Makdah was killed in the coastal city of Sidon “while performing his duty in supporting the Palestinian people and resistance.”
Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said al-Makdah was killed when an Israeli drone struck his car in Villas area in Sidon.
