Israeli airstrikes struck the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza killing nine Palestinians, including five children, and leaving many others injured.
According to local reports, the airstrikes targeted residential homes belonging to families within the camp.
In addition to the strikes on Bureij, Israeli fighter jets and artillery hit residential buildings north of Nuseirat camp.
