In a statement given to the media on the sidelines of the 38th edition of the Business Days, Issam Lahmar, Minister of Social Affairs, stated that the current Labor Code, which dates back to 1966, must be retired.
“The commission responsible for revising the Labor Code has started its work. The code must be adapted to new changes such as new technologies and artificial intelligence. The organization of individual and collective employment relations, workplace safety and employment contracts are also priorities of the new code,” the minister said.
