The Presidency of the Government has issued Order No. 21 of 2025, dated January 8, 2025, in the Official Gazette, regarding the integration of substitute teachers and professors in primary schools, middle schools, and institutes under the Ministry of Education.
Yesterday, during a meeting with Prime Minister Kamal al-Madhouri, the President of the Republic decided to permanently close the issue of substitute teachers and professors by issuing an order that integrates them into primary schools, middle schools, and institutes under the Ministry of Education, pending comprehensive reforms in education after the establishment of the Higher Council for Education, according to a statement issued by the Presidency.
