Italian Minister of Employment and Social Policies Marina Elvira CALDERONE reported Monday during a meeting with Minister of Social Affairs Issam Lahmar that laws permitting the hiring of Tunisians in permanent employment positions within the framework of regular immigration have been adopted in Italy.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Marina Elvira CALDERONE voiced her commitment and her country’s willingness to further support cooperation relations in areas of common interest between Tunisia and Italy.
It should be remarked that Marina Elvira CALDERONE is making a working visit to Tunisia as part of the launch of a series of training sessions for Tunisian workers in the construction sector, wishing to migrate to work in Italy for three years.
