Jamel Kharrazi has been elected as the new president of the Tunisian Wrestling Federation for the 2025–2028 term, following the federation’s elective general assembly held on Saturday.
Kharrazi’s list secured 16 votes, compared with five for the list led by Fahmi Gharbi Zayani, while Saber Ghanmi’s list received no votes.
The elected slate includes Jamel Kharrazi (president), along with Dorsaf Kouki, Sihem Amdouni, Khadija Delhoumi, Marouane Thouir, Seifeddine Arfaoui, Maamoun Ben Latifa, Nassim Lajmi and Mohamed Sofiane Akrouet (members).
During the general assembly, the financial report was approved, while the moral report for the 2024–2025 sporting season was not adopted. An external auditor was also appointed for the next term.
