Japan confirms 11th victim of boat incident

Japan’s Coast Guard confirmed the death toll of the boat sinking that occurred over the previous weekend near the island of Hokkaido has risen to 11.

The department and Self-Defense Forces are still searching for the remaining 15 passengers, the officials added.
