Four mild earthquakes rocked the Dead Sea today. The quake was felt by the Jordan Valley and Karak governorate.
Jordan Seismological Observatory said that the first temblor happened at 10:02 am, averaging 2.6, the second one followed at 10:07 and measured 3.3.
They added the third quake transpired at 1:39 pm, measuring 3.8, while the fourth took place at 1:49 pm and was of a magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale.
The earthquakes occurred at depths ranging from 12 km to 7 km.
