On Friday, April 25, 2025, President Kaïs Saïed inaugurated the 39th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair at the Kram Exhibition Palace. This significant cultural event, held annually, brings together publishers, authors, and readers from Tunisia and beyond, celebrating the spirit of knowledge-sharing and learning.
On the same day, President Saïed officially reopened the Ibn Khaldoun Cultural Centre, located in the heart of Tunis. This key hub of cultural life, which had been closed for renovation, was restored under the direct instruction of the Head of State, who is dedicated to preserving and revitalising Tunisia’s artistic and intellectual heritage.
Through these two initiatives, the president reaffirms his commitment to culture and to ensuring access to knowledge for all, making the promotion of books and heritage a national development priority.
