Khashoggi case moved to S. Arabia – Turkey

Suspects in the case of the killing of the Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi (pictured), will be tried in Saudi Arabia, the Turkish Ministry of Justice stated on Saturday.

A court in Istanbul sought the ministry’s approval to move the case to Saudi Arabia two days prior, the ministry’s statement read, as broadcasted by the state-owned Anadolu Agency.

An intelligence report released a year ago by the United States claimed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the operation to kill or capture Khashoggi. The Saudi government denied the report.
