King Charles III of the United Kingdom was discharged from the London Clinic private hospital on Monday afternoon following his three-day stay for prostate treatment, the Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement.
The King also rescheduled his forthcoming public engagements “to allow for a period of private recuperation.” The monarch was admitted to the hospital on January 26 for a scheduled procedure for his enlarged prostate. According to the previous statement, the treatment was effective.
The Kensington Palace reported earlier today that Catherine, the Princess of Wales, returned home and will continue her recovery following a planned abdominal surgery. “She is making good progress,” the Palace said.
