Add TN as a preferred source on GoogleNational Security units in Ksar Hellal, Monastir Governorate, have arrested the owner of a childcare facility following the alleged assault of a five-year-old child.
The case came to light after a video showing the child being assaulted inside a childcare facility in the delegation of Sayada was widely circulated on social media on Wednesday.
Investigation launched into the incident
Following the circulation of the footage, the specialized brigade responsible for investigating crimes of violence against women and children in Ksar Hellal, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
The investigation led to the arrest of the owner of the childcare facility.
Legal proceedings are continuing under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office.
