During its general assembly, the American Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia (AmCham Tunisia) selected Marouane Ben Jemaa (Ford Tunisia / Ben Jemaa group), as its new president, succeeding Naceur Hidoussi.
This election marks a new phase in the management of the establishment, which plays a critical role in the development of trade and economic relations between Tunisia and the United States.
Marouane Ben Jemaa will be supported by a team composed of:
– Fatma Rekik (COFAT) as first vice-president
– Mohamed Zaanouni (Dentons) second vice-president
– Jihen Landolsi (Pfizer) general secretary
– Med Ali Ben Arbia (Crowe) as treasurer.
The new office seeks to continue strengthening bilateral economic relations, promote investment, and create a favourable business environment between the two countries.
The composition of this new office, with influential members from the Tunisian business community, not only underscores AmCham Tunisia’s significance in the national economic ecosystem but also strengthens its ability to achieve its goals.
With this diverse expertise, the institution is well-positioned to promote Tunisian economic interests internationally and foster strategic partnerships, thereby consolidating its leading role in strengthening Tunisian-U.S. trade ties.
