The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mondher BelAïd, met today, Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tunis, with a delegation of Palestinian university hospital professors from An-Najah National University in Palestine.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the meeting focused on the state of bilateral collaboration between Tunisian universities and their Palestinian counterparts, as well as ways to reinforce and develop this collaboration.
The meeting was attended by Mourad BelAswad, Director of the Cabinet; Nader Ziyadeh, Head of Educational Affairs at the Embassy of Palestine in Tunisia; Ihab Labbane, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Tunis; senior officials from the Ministry; and a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad.
It is worth noting that An-Najah National University, based in Nablus, is one of the largest and most renowned universities in Palestine in terms of student numbers and academic programs. The university encompasses more than 11 faculties, including Medicine, Dentistry, Humanities, Islamic Law, Educational Sciences and Teacher Training, Engineering and Information Technology, Health Sciences, Economics and Social Sciences, Law, and Fine Arts.
