Following the cowardly attack that took place yesterday on the margins of the annual visit season- Al-Ghariba in Djerba that claimed the lives of two Tunisian and Tunisian-French civilians, among the visitors, and three members of the security forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad extends its sincere condolences and its compassion to the families of the victims and its wishes of prompt recovery to the wounded agents who valiantly responded to this attack and took control of the situation with ability.
This attack on innocent people will only strengthen the unity of the country and its determination to continue its relentless resistance to all forms of crime and defeat those behind it.
An investigation is underway to determine the responsibilities for this cowardly attack.
