Mohamed Mneif Reveals Reasons Behind Shortage in Gas Cylinder Supply [Video]

Today, Mohamed Mneif, President of the National Chamber of Gas Cylinder Distributors, told Tunisie Numérique that there is a shortage in the supply of gas cylinders. This has led to long queues at refilling centres in Rades and Gabes, making it hard for distributors to get their usual quantities and transport them to the regions they serve.

Mneif stressed that a refilling center in Rades was closed yesterday due to a lack of liquid gas and delays in the arrival of a shipment carrying this material. This closure is expected to result in a production shortfall of approximately 35,000 gas cylinders. He stressed that the arrival date of the shipment remains uncertain, as there is confusion in the scheduling of these shipments, further aggravating the situation.

He added that all concerned parties are mobilized to provide as many gas cylinders as possible, particularly during the current cold wave affecting the country.
