The seismic station of the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) registered an earthquake on September 18, 2024, at 8:29 p.m. (local time), of a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale.
The centre was determined, according to preliminary analyses, 35.74 degrees of latitude and 10.67 degrees of longitude, northeast of El Oerdanine in the governorate of Monastir.
